Fog covers my face, like smoke that blackens the skin. I cannot find shelter in that theatre of broken spears. There, they are on the brink of death. Without iron to defend their flesh, blind rage ... without weapons ... death shortens their time, my time. I turn to the dead around me, striking out with what I have left ...
... It looks like a land that hides the terrible sites of atrocious deaths, tragic. The fog hides and humiliates those heads, it impedes their movements, immobilizes my arms ... no longer men ... through their wounds, that are now my wounds.
The glow that indicates the axe, waiting for me at the gate ... I am about to cross the threshold, where the body is invisible.
